Liveness v.3.2. End of Life

We announce the End of Life and End of Support of the legacy liveness detection module in Regula Face SDK v. 3.2 as of January 1st, 2024. Please be aware that maintenance and support for the legacy liveness detection module of Regula Face SDK v. 3.2 will not be available starting from that date. As a result, you will no longer receive updates, patches, hotfixes, or technical support.

The new Regula Face SDK v. 5.1, available from March 3, 2023, is built on a different technology stack, delivers new algorithms for the liveness detection module, and completely supersedes the previous liveness detection functionality.

After January 1st, 2024, Regula will disable the backward compatibility of this module with any active face liveness license. Any client who doesn’t upgrade by then will be forced either to upgrade or look for an alternative solution. We urge you to upgrade to the current version, Regula Face SDK 5.1, to keep your processes protected. Please follow the Migration guide to upgrade from the older Regula Face SDK, version 3.2, to the latest version, 5.1.
