Release 3.1 — September 24, 2025
We are thrilled to introduce the first public release of Regula IDV Platform! Here are the key features.
Workflows
Your business processes that include collection, analysis, verification, and aggregation of identity data are represented in the Platform as Workflows.
Workflows are tailor-built and are configured to suit specific business requirements.
Workflow functionality includes:
- Building complex processes incorporating any business rules and logic that might be required.
- Interacting with the user via configurable UI through a variety of channels.
- Out-of-the-box native support of Regula services such as the Document Reader SDK and Face SDK.
- Extensibility with any third-party service your business process requires.
- Performing automatic checks on submitted data and collecting them all in a single place — a Session — for further analysis and usage.
Performance and Scalability
The Platform’s architecture is developed to be scaled to any specific business needs. Depending on the processing volumes Platform’s components can scale independently to balance between processing IDs, biometrics, and engaging third-party systems.
Integration
The Platform is a single entry point for identity processing. It serves as a centralized hub, integrating the Regula document and face verification solutions out of the box, as well as a number of third-party services, such as Polixis PEP&REP, IATA Timatic, and many more.
The Platform allows you to build integration into any external system or database via API connection.
Multi-Channel Input
A set of SDKs make it easy to add identity management features to your mobile or web apps, while ensuring data security and integrity through server-side processing.
The available options are:
- Android
- iOS
- Web
- Windows Desktop SDKs
Session Data Management
You'll have access to all Workflow Sessions and be able to view and manage the collected data.
The data management includes:
- Filtered and sorted Workflow Session list with a wide range of configuration options for effective management of multiple Workflows and their Sessions.
- Access to all data submitted in each particular Session — document and biometric verification data, attachments, person’s answers to questions within the Session, results of verifications against third-party sources, such as PEP providers.
- Audit trail — a full log of all events and alerts within a Session, allowing you to trace all interactions.
- Manual status change — change the status of a Session upon the data review and set up complex scenarios with human verification involved.
Profiles
Profiles allow you to collect, maintain, and use data related to a particular person.
The following features are included:
- Database of individuals, including their personal information and biometric data.
- Profiles can be created and updated manually or automatically (via Workflow).
- Text and biometric search — the database can be searched based on available text or biometric data to find matching Profiles.
- Attachment management — files relevant to a particular Profile can be added manually or automatically, including images, PDF and DOC files, archives, etc.
- Timeline — a comprehensive audit log of all events in a Profile’s lifecycle, such as Profile creation, update, new data being loaded, etc.
- A comprehensive Role and Permission management system that lets you configure access to Profiles on a granular level.
- Profile management tools available through the Platform Portal, including Profile Groups, Views, and Search capabilities.
Platform Portal
The Platform Portal lets teams engage with the entirety of the identity management cycle in one centralized admin tool.
The Portal includes the following features:
