Core SDK

OCR

  • Updated the neural network (NN) for Arabic (Iraq only).
  • Fixed an issue in text detection when special characters such as *) are present.

Text data parsing and validation

  • Fixed an issue where an extra space was added between characters when parsing an image in a PDF.
  • Fixed an issue with splitting surnames and given names.

Authenticity

  • Added new portrait comparison pairs between a ghost portrait and the following sources: RFID chip, barcode, live photo, and external portrait.
  • Updated the neural network (NN) for electronic device replay checks with greater accuracy.
  • Updated the neural network (NN) for the document liveness check with greater accuracy.

  • Added new eRPRM_SecurityFeatureType enum members:

Other

  • Complete Server-Side Verification is extended to support submitting document data in parts, eliminating the need to resend data that has already been submitted. For example, document images and video can be sent in the initial submission, and the RFID session can be provided in a subsequent step without resending the images and video, reducing overall traffic when multiple submissions are required.
  • Added the ability to get the processing results in accordance with the BSI TR-03135 v2.4 standard in addition to the existing processing results, use processParam.bsiTr03135.generateResult
  • Improved internal architecture to enhance stability.
  • Fixed multiple issues found by static analysis, improving code robustness and reliability.
  • Fixed an issue with the multipage animation type in double-page spread mode.
  • Fixed an issue with driving privileges that were requested but not returned during mDL processing.
  • Memory usage optimization.

Core RFID SDK

  • The new firmware version 22.17 is included which fixes an issue where automatic chip detection could temporarily stop working after several unsuccessful RFID read attempts.
  • Fixed an issue with processing order to ensure EF.SOD is processed before DG14, if present.

Desktop API

  • The processParameters.noMrzProc parameter is now enabled by default, meaning MRZ processing is no longer performed via mrzproc.dll. To use the previous behavior, set this parameter to false.

Hardware Support

  • Added support for RTScan IDE200 and RTScan IDE500 devices.
  • Added support for Access-IS ADR300 devices.
  • Updated the integration to support the latest Desko SDK changes.
  • Fixed an issue on E-Seek M600 devices where the document sensor lost the document during processing.
  • Fixed a connection issue on Desko Penta Scanner 4X devices caused by conflicts between the Desko PageScan SDK, Desko Scan SDK, and Desko IdAnalyze SDK.

Mobile API

  • The rfidScenario.autoSettings property is now disabled by default, all logic was moved to Core SDK. To use the previous behavior, set this parameter to true.
  • Fixed an issue where the camera offset width prevented reducing the distance between the camera edge and the camera frame.

Android

  • Fixed an issue with camera startup on foldable devices.

iOS

  • Added a new Capture Process Integrity feature that enables detection of jailbroken mobile devices to help ensure the device is genuine, secure, and free from tampering. Use the processParams.checkCaptureProcessIntegrity property to activate this feature, disabled by default.
  • Added customization options for the mDL processing.
  • Fixed an issue with the Close button position in the RTL presentation.
  • Fixed an issue affecting multipage animation presentation on iOS 26.

Document Reader Application

  • Fixed an issue where validity for text result values was not displayed when saving results in PDF format.

Web Components

  • Fixed an issue with the simultaneous use of workerPath and module type, ensuring that workerPath takes priority when both options are used.
  • Fixed an issue where the Capture button did not work when the Camera Switch button was enabled.

Web Service API

  • Fixed an issue where the service did not launch automatically after an update from previous versions.
  • Fixed an issue where worker processes remained running after service uninstallation on Ubuntu.
  • Updated dependencies to the latest version to fix security breaches.

Clients

  • Fixed an issue with default values in the C# client that affected proper document recognition.

Licensing

  • Added mechanism for preventing flooding of the licensing service with requests from many devices simultaneously. This might happen in case of the improper SDK integration in web applications which have a large user base.

Installation Packages

Windows

  • New driver version 10.5.10.25 included in Regula Reader Drivers package 1.8.31.

PKD

  • ICAO PKD Master List version 337 included.

Database

  • Updated multiple document templates to include OVI, MLI, Contact chip, Holograms, Extended MRZ, Extended OCR, Photo embedding type, Patterns checks where appropriate.
  • Includes 254 countries and territories, 16237 documents.
  • Added 110 new documents.
