Face SDK Release Notes 8.4 — October 8, 2026
Important Changes
-
Introduced Enroll and Verify, a new Face SDK capability that simplifies adding biometric authentication to your solution. It combines liveness, face comparison, and person database operations into an integrated enrollment and verification flow. For details, see the Enroll and Verify documentation.
-
The minimum supported iOS version is now iOS 15. Devices running iOS 14 or earlier are no longer supported.
Liveness
-
Updated the neural networks used for liveness presentation attack detection to improve success rates for real users and enhance protection against fraudulent attempts.

iOS

CancelAuthenticationChallengeresponse when optional client-certificate authentication was enabled on the server.
