Identity Refresh
Identity refresh lets you run a verification workflow for profiles in a profile group on a defined schedule or whenever needed.
To use identity refresh, first make sure that:
- The verification workflow you want to run is already created.
- All profiles you want to process are collected in the same profile group.
How Identity Refresh Helps
Identity refresh is useful when you want to:
- Run the same verification workflow for multiple profiles.
- Repeat this process on a regular basis.
- Apply the workflow only to profiles that match specific conditions.
- Avoid reprocessing profiles that were checked recently.
- Review the progress and results of each run.
Before You Begin
Before setting up identity refresh:
- Create the workflow that will be used for verification.
- Add all the required profiles to the same profile group.
Identity refresh works only within a single profile group.
Set Up Identity Refresh
An identity refresh setup defines which workflow to run, which profiles to include, and how often profiles can be processed. Each identity refresh is configured as a job within a profile group.
Select the Profiles tab on the left, pick the Profile group you want to use, click the Jobs icon, then click Add new job.
When creating an identity refresh setup, specify:
- Title and Description to identify the setup.
- Workflow to launch.
- Filters to define which profiles in the group should be included. Filters are applied at the time of each run.
- Delay — the number of days during which profiles that have already been processed are excluded from reprocessing. The delay is applied independently of the Cron schedule and ensures that recently processed profiles are skipped during each run.
- Cron — the schedule (in cron format) that defines how often the identity refresh runs.
Use clear names so operators can easily distinguish between multiple identity refresh setups in the same profile group.
You can also run identity refresh manually at any time from the Jobs section.
Review Results
After a run starts, you can open the related profiles and sessions to review the outcome in detail.
